Why you should never cheat adsense

Google adsense is one of the biggest adserving program on the internet. It pays publishers for the clicks on their published ads. Some people, mostly beginners become desperate and try to cheat google adsense, and end up loosing their adsense accounts. Their are several ways in which people try to cheat google adsense.

• it is illegal to click on your own published ad.
• And you can not even ask people to click on your ads. either asked personally or even by asking your viewers i.e. by wiriting "Support the writer by clicking ads" and similar things.

How does Google detect invalid clicks

As simple as it may seem, but cheating google is almost impossible. There are several ways in which people try to cheat adsense and get banned. Google has earned its place as the most credible adserving company in the world, there must be some kind of mechanism to detect invalid clicks. Though Google has never disclosed their secrets but some of the most probable techniques are listed below. though only one parameter isn't enough for google to detect invalid clicks, but by combining all these, google can detect invalid clicks with much accuracy.

• IP Address

Every time you connect to internet, you are given a unique IP Address, there can be no two computers in the world with having the same IP addresses at the same time. This is the most probable way of tracking invalid clicks.

Though usually the ISP's change your IP address every time you connect to internet, but ISP's use limited number of IP addresses that has a pattern and if you try clicking your ads just by reconnecting to the internet, Google might put all the similar IP addresses in an observation list.

• Cookies

Only changing your IP address isn't enough to trick Google. Every time you open a browser, google saves cookies on your browser, so even if your IP address is changed the next time you open your browser, Google will know it is the same computer.

• Your Geo location

Even if you change your IP address and delete your cookies every time, google knows your location on the world map, so if most of the clicks are coming from the same region, google will know its you.

• CTR

CTR is clickthrough rate, which tells how many clicks per hundred visits a page gets. if your ctr is too high google will flag your profile and there is a chance of you to get banned.

• Click Pattern

Google has probably built filters that can detect any abnormality regarding the clicks. a normal viewer which clicks an ad, might take a complete look at the page, which he has opened through an ad. but if a guy is clicking on his own ads, his average time on these directed sites will be very less than the usual. similar patterns might tell google that something is wrong.

Some people might try to cheat google using few softwares available on the internet.

An IP hinding software conceals your identity by alloting you a new IP address and gives the websites a fake geo location. And there are some websites that you can use to give google an impression of heavy internet traffic. so can a person use both of these softwares combined to cheat google? the answer is no!

1. Some easily available IP hiding softwares can give you a fake proxy IP, but google can detect your real IP as they have the best engineers and programmers, right?
2. Some IP hiding softwares can conceal your IP completely and there is a chance that google will not detect you, but these kind of services has limited number of servers on which there is a massive load and your internet connection suffers because of that, and google can detect you if your internet connection is too slw every time you click on an ad.
3. Some IP hiding software like Hide my IP can successfully conceal your real IP and if you avail there premium services, there will be no speed issue. So is it usefull against the Google's defenses for invalid clicks? answer is still no. These services are licensed services and their IP's are well known and google certainly knows if a person is using such service to conceal his IP.. These services are for legal protection against the hackers activities not for cheating and running a scam.

So practically & technically there is no possible way to cheat google. Hundreds of people lose their adsense account daily. One should not put an effort to cheat instead he/she should work hard to write good content for legitimate earnings through google adsense program.
